SCHOOL+ AFRICA, TOASE PILOT PROJECT.

In the town of Toase, Ghana, the Toase Pilot Project is significantly impacting young students’ education. Launched by Future Foundations, Africa, this initiative provides supplementary lessons in reading, comprehension, and numeracy every Saturday. Volunteer teachers lead these interactive sessions, creating a supportive environment where students can thrive.

The project addresses the educational gaps that contribute to youth unemployment, and its success is already evident. Students are showing marked improvements in their academic skills, and the community is noticing positive changes in both attitudes and performance.

With these encouraging results, Future Foundations, Africa plans to expand the program to other schools in the Ashanti region, aiming to replicate this model of educational improvement across the area. The Toase Pilot Project is a step towards breaking the cycle of educational disadvantage and opening up new opportunities for young people.
