Sub-Saharan Africa is projected to have the highest number of young people entering the workforce by 2030, offering substantial potential for economic growth. However, this potential is at risk due to high youth unemployment rates. Contributing to this issue are skills mismatches and outdated education systems that fail to keep pace with the evolving job market.
We aim to address these challenges by developing projects, products, and services in collaboration with our Nordic and global partners. Our goal is to equip African youth with the skills needed to meet future demands and access new opportunities.
At Future Foundations, Africa, we envision a future where every young person in Sub-Saharan Africa has access to quality education and meaningful employment opportunities. We believe that by addressing the skills gap and modernizing outdated educational systems, we can unlock the full potential of Africa’s youth and drive sustainable economic growth across the continent.
Our mission is to create and implement innovative projects, products, and services that enhance future outcomes and prepare young people for tomorrow. By focusing on quality education, career readiness, and entrepreneurship, we aim to reduce youth unemployment and empower the next generation of African leaders and innovators.
At Future Foundations, Africa, we believe in addressing the challenges faced by young people in Sub-Saharan Africa through targeted and impactful initiatives. Our core programs are designed to bridge the gaps in the current educational system, provide real-world experiences, and foster entrepreneurial spirit. By focusing on these key areas, we aim to empower the next generation to achieve academic excellence, gain valuable career insights, and create sustainable businesses that drive economic growth across the continent.
School+ Africa is our flagship program dedicated to improving academic performance in primary and junior high schools across Sub-Saharan Africa. We focus on enhancing core skills in reading, comprehension, and numeracy through engaging supplementary tutorials, particularly targeting schools with lower performance levels. Our goal is to provide students with a strong foundation to succeed academically and to prepare them for future challenges.
Work+ Africa aims to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world application by providing senior high school students with structured internships and career guidance. Our program helps students gain practical experience, explore various career paths, and develop the skills they need to succeed in the workforce.
Entrepreneurship+ Africa is dedicated to nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit among university students. We provide training, mentorship, and resources to help young innovators turn their ideas into successful businesses. Our program supports the growth of a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem that drives job creation and economic development.
